Teaching Experience
With over five years of teaching experience, my journey began with private flute lessons in the vibrant city of Santo Domingo. Here, I mentored students of various levels, from beginners to college-level aspirants, and even adult learners. Guiding individuals towards success, I prepared talented applicants for auditions at the prestigious Conservatorio Nacional de Música in the Dominican Republic, witnessing their triumphant admission. My passion for teaching extended to high schoolers at Secundaria Babeque, enriching their musical journey through flute lessons. At Academia Appassionato, I embraced a diverse range of students, spanning from 5-year-olds to high school levels, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. I meticulously prepared students to excel in ABRSM exams up to grade 8, fostering their musical growth and proficiency. Adapting to the changing landscape, I seamlessly transitioned to online teaching via platforms like Zoom during the pandemic, ensuring continuity in music education. Currently, as a flute mentor for the Shalala Music Reach program, I continue to share my expertise in person at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music campus, empowering aspiring musicians to reach new heights in their musical endeavors.

Who can take online lessons?
For online lessons, students should have at least 2 years of playing experience and some ability to read music. We welcome adults returning to the flute after a break. Please remember, beginners and middle school students are only accepted for in-person lessons.
Who can join in-person lessons?
People aged 10 and above, whether they're starting out or already experienced flutists, are welcome. Middle school students are also encouraged to join! Lessons are held in Coral Gables, FL.
What's required for online lessons?
A well-functioning flute.
An updated Zoom account, for online students.
A camera and microphone, either external or built into your laptop, or any other electronic device.
A fast internet connection is essential!
How do I pay for lessons?
Payment will be structured in 4-lesson packages. New students have the option for an individual trial lesson before committing to the initial four-lesson package. Please ensure that payment is received at least 24 hours after scheduling your lesson. Payment methods accepted include cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full lesson charges apply to lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, including no-show lessons. We may attempt to reschedule pending availability.
